Welcome to St. Patrick’s

Welcome to the

St Patrick’s Primary School

GLOW Blog

We hope you enjoy exploring and finding out what makes our school a great place to learn and to grow.  This site is currently undergoing updates.  Please check back regularly.

St Patrick’s Primary is the designated Catholic primary school for Auchinleck and Cumnock and our catchment area extends to Catrine, Coylton, Drongan, Logan, Mauchline, Muirkirk, New Cumnock, Ochiltree and Sorn.  It is an important aspect of our school that our pupils feel a sense of belonging which is strengthened by our links to our parishes and the wider community.

We are proud of the partnership we have with parents/ carers, our families and also the meaningful relationships we have with our community partners.

In St. Patrick’s we are welcoming and operate an open door policy.  Due to the current restrictions we cannot physically open the door to you all but we have lots of other ways to communicate with you and help you feel part of our school community.

We would encourage all parents and carers to download the school app.  This is our way of getting important information to you quickly.

We also have a new twitter feed @eacStPatricksPS where we will post some of the learning taking place.  Through time this blog will become a place to find out about us, our partnerships and the learning taking place.

A Message from Our Head Teacher

I am delighted to have joined the St. Patrick’s family in October 2021.  The school has a warm and friendly ethos and the children are a credit to themselves, their families and the school.   I look forward to working with the staff, pupils, families and community to build on the excellent practice already in place.   Please do not hesitate to contact the school  if there is anything we can support you with.

Mrs Marianne Bradley

Head Teacher
