Parent Council AGM
Huge thanks to the parents and carers that attended the Parent Council AGM on Wednesday.
Our Parent Council are integral part of our school community and this partnership is invaluable in improving outcomes for all our children. If you would like more information about the parent council please do not hesitate to get in touch.
This year’s office bearers were elected as follows;

Secretary – Conny Gollek
Treasurer – Jodie Baird
School Football Team
Unfortunately we have been unable to secure anyone to coach a football team. This means that there will be no competitive football for St Patrick’s this year. We are close to the final date for registering for the local authority wide fixtures. The team is usually open to P5 – P7 pupils. Please contact the office as soon as possible if you would consider coaching our football team.
Parent Consultation
Last week we sent this out… a gentle reminder to complete it if you haven’t. Thanks.
As part of our school improvement plan we have included two areas identified through our parent/carer questionnaire from June 2026.
Your feedback told us you would like us to improve these areas:
- the opportunities for you to learn together with your child or children
- the advice we give to support learning at home
Please take a couple of minutes to share your views on how we can best do this. Thank You.

Fire & Rescue Service Visit
The fire service will visit P7 next week to deliver training for CPR.
Morning Drop Off
Arrangements for Morning Drop off after September weekend are as follows;
P1 parents/carers can walk children to the bottom of the steps. P6 buddies will be there to meet P1s and take them round to the playground. It may not be your child’s specific buddy that is there but there will always be someone your child is familiar with. Sometimes P1s like to come round on their own now they are a little more confident or sometimes they come round with a sibling. Any of these options is fine. There are no changes to arrangements for the start of the day.
