‘Get Out to Help Out’ Lenten Initiative

Our PE department are running their ‘Get Out To Help Out’ Lenten initiative. This initiative is designed to to get our whole school community moving through a House Group games competition. Staff and pupils will be encouraged to complete as many walks/jogs/cycles as they can each week over a four week period in the name of their house group. Staff and pupils are asked to record their distance and share evidence with PE staff via Strava or a Microsoft forms link. Links to each will be shared with participants and use of Strava is strictly at the discretion of parents/carers. If you can contribute, we are hoping our efforts will help raise money for SCIAF via the following link https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/stjosephsacademyforsciaf

We will keep you all updated with our progress to see which house group will be our ‘Get Out To Help Out Champions’.

Dear Parents/Carers of those in S3,

If you have not received a report yet and have changed your email address or use multiple email addresses, can you please email the school to notify us of this change/your preferred email address?

Dear Pupils and Parents/Carers,

Please find below a link to a short Ash Wednesday reflection from Fr Martin.

We thank him for sharing this, enabling us a school community to begin our preparations for the season of Lent by changing our words and actions and in doing so becoming a light for others.

Kind regards,

Mrs Shearer
