In numeracy this week P6/7 have been learning to partition and expand multi-digit numbers. They were required to identify the value of each digit within these large numbers.

We have also been plotting numbers on a numberline. Each pair had to decide on a number range and then challenge their learning buddy to identify given number positions.

We worked on estimation through rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. Some children also had a go using decimal numbers to round to the nearest 10th, 100th or whole number.
