School’s Out for Summer

Weekly Round-up

P6/7 have had an extremely busy week this week.
We’ve had our Chess Championship, Sports Day, Prize-giving  & a visit from Mrs Anderson, the head of S1 from the Robert Burns Academy.
Today we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as part of our novel study.

P7

This week P7s had a very busy week. The P7s were at the academy for bump up day on Tuesday and Wednesday. They all got their timetable and went to their new classes. They had a taste of what it would be like in August and everyone had diffrent opinions such as their favourite subjects and teachers.

P6

On Monday we had assembly then we had line dancing with miss Brown. In the afternoon we had Mrs Robinson we where planning a meal for a football player

on Tuesday we where with Mrs Campbell  we had laser tag then we did maths  in the after noon  we had Mrs Robinson   the we did silent disco .

On Wednesday we had  Kilmarnock football in to do football and a blow up darts board then we had home circles then we did solving problems with Mrs Cook in the afternoon we had bump up day we had Mrs McCaig.

Weekly update

On Monday we had assembly and literacy. We also did maths and in the afternoon we were doing our Sports Championship.

On Tuesday the P7s helped to walk the ECC children up to the school and the P6s set up some fun activities for their health and wellbeing morning. In the afternoon we practised our own races for Sports Day.

On Wednesday P7s had a cheeky wee day out. They were away swimming. They loved it. Declan said that the toasties were yummy. After swimming we all had lunch and got the bus back to Catrine. We then went to the park before heading back to school. P6 pupils from our class got to spend the day with P5/6.
