Weekly Round-up

We’ve had another busy week in P6. This week we have been practising the different races for the Sportshall Athletics. We have worked in teams to compete in different relay races too.

We have finished our 4th week of swimming lessons and it’s great to see the progress that everyone is making.

This week we continued to work on our report writing skills and used the information collected from our research to complete our first reports. We were learning about the importance of headings and sub-headings to organise our information.

We have been learning about different modes of transport and have been looking at how these have changed over the years. We went on a virtual tour of the Riverside Museum and learned all about the different modes of transport, from the Penny Farthing, to steam trains, trams and the first gliders ever to be built and remain in the air for almost a minute.
