Weekly Round-up

This week we have been continuing our skipping block in PE, and have been learning some new skills.

We have continued to work on our knowledge of homophones and have been focusing on using descriptive language in our writing. In numeracy we enjoyed getting to share our learning with our visitors from home & we have also been working on completing subtraction calculations with exchange.

In science we completed our own experiments around dissolving, we investigated what impact the temperature of the water had on the speed of the substance dissolving.

 

Weekly Round-up

This week we have been learning about prefixes in spelling, and we have been reading more of our book study and focussing on our different reading strategies. In numeracy we have been working on time & being able to tell the time using an analogue clock.

We have been learning about reversible and irreversible changes in science & we also completed our own chromatography experiments.

We also completed our own Wassily Kandinsky inspired artwork.

Weekly Update

This week we have been practising skipping for PE and making sure our ropes were the right size for us.

In science we were learning reversible and irreversible changes, we were looking at how eggs change when they have are heated up. In numeracy we were revising addition with carrying.

The captain interviews also took place and we can’t wait to find out who our new captains will be.
