Below I have this week’s spelling words. We are still focusing on our ow and sh sounds. Another great resources to practise our spelling words is the ‘spelling training’ website. The pupils must type in their list of words and it will generate different games and activities to do.

Mrs Rooney and I have noticed that children have been bringing in a variety of different items from home that are becoming a distraction during lessons. Can we ask that pupils do not bring in any personal items from home please.

Hello all,

My name is Miss Murray and I am the new primary 5/6 teacher. I have enjoyed getting to know all of your children throughout the past few weeks and I thought I would introduce myself to you all. On Thursdays, the class will have Mrs Rooney who is a familiar face at Ochiltree Primary.

Our homework this year will be optional. Pupils will soon be given reading books that should be read at home and I will be uploading spelling words every week with possible tasks they can do.
