Our learning

Hello all,

Here are some photos of your children’s learning over the past few weeks. We have finished our money topic and have moved onto multiplication and division. We are working hard on a video that shows the War of Independence in Scotland wh

I’m very happy with all my pupils progress so far this term!

We were learning about the similarities and differences between Scottish and English knights

To finish our money topic, we made our own shopping centre and our  own shops that we all got to shop at…. On a budget!

Well done to the merits and excellence award winners for our Burns assembly!

For spelling, we were learning the /j/ sound

During an indoor lunch, the girls wrote out their 15 times table!

To start off our multiplication topic, we all played different games to refresh our knowledge of our time tables!

Thank you and I hope you enjoyed a wee look into your children’s learning!

PE shoes

Hello all,

Just a wee reminder that all children should bring indoor shoes on Monday and Wednesday for PE. We are doing gymnastics and the outdoor shoes can damage the mats and any moisture from outside can cause pupils to slip and hurt themselves!

Any pupils that don’t bring shoes for PE will not be allowed to take part.

Thank you!

Burns Poems and Song

Hello all,

As we approach Burns week, the pupils have been sent home with their poems and lyrics to the song ‘O Flower of Scotland’.

If they could practise this at home as part of their homework, that would be great!

The pupils are to learn 2, 3 or 4 verses to perform in front of the  class or myself (whatever makes them most comfortable).

Linked below are the 2 poems for each stage in case they lose their sheets!

P5-     Street Talk by JK Annard

P6-      Willy Wastle By Robert Burns

Below is the link to our song: 0:00- 3:04

Thank you!
