Weekly Round-Up

This week in Primary 4 we have been learning to measure in maths. We have  been estimating and measuring lengths to the nearest centimetre and converting between metres, centimetres and millimetres.

Harper and Harley have been working hard to learn times table facts and have now completed their times table passports. Well done!

We have been working so hard on writing targets in Literacy that we are ready to move onto a new target next week.

In French we have been learning about the festival Mardi Gras. We made our own Mardi Gras masks which look amazing!

We were given a Technology challenge this week to build a bridge using only lollipop sticks and glue. We worked well in our teams to plan and construct our bridges. Next week we will test the bridges to find out if they are strong enough to hold a 1kg weight.

We went for a class walk to the river.

Today we took part in a music workshop with Calum and Lucy from the Benedetti Foundation. We were composing and making our own song, playing body percussion, listening to live music and having lots of fun!
