We went to the park to play afterwards.

We all got our glad rags on for our Christmas party with P3 and P5 on Tuesday afternoon. We had great fun dancing and playing party games.

Yesterday the whole school went on a trip to The Galleon in Kilmarnock to see the panto ‘Sleeping Beauty’. It was a lovely morning and a great end of term treat!

The Twits Movie

Last week we finished reading our whole class book study ‘The Twits’ by Roald Dahl. We plan to watch the movie in class tomorrow to compare it to the book. The movie has a PG rating. If you do not wish for your child to watch the movie, please contact the school.

This week in P4

This week in P4 we have been learning to divide whole numbers by 10 and 100. We finished reading our class book study ‘The Twits’ and plan to watch the movie next week. We created ‘Melted Snowman’ pictures in art and then wrote about our snowmen in literacy. In French we have been learning about how they celebrate Christmas in France.

In Science we carried out an investigation to find out which materials are soluble and insoluble.

Well done to Lyle and Logan who managed to complete their times table passports in numeracy this week.

We went for a class walk to The Voes to feed the ducks.

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch on Wednesday afternoon.

Next week we will be having a fun filled week of Christmas activities. Only 5 more school days to go!
