Homework

Week Beginning 24th November

The children have been learning about weight and measure with Miss Smith. For homework this week, here is a game linked to measuring weight in grams and kilograms.

Of course any practical experience is always better so if there is an opportunity to help in the kitchen then that would be great!

Mostly Postie – mobile friendly

Week Beginning 17th November

As this week is ‘Book Week Scotland’ no new reading books will be assigned on Boost Learning. Instead we are encouraging pupils to read for enjoyment by choosing a book of their choice. If your child has any books written by Scottish authors or have Scottish settings/characters then they are welcome to bring them in over the week to share with the class.

Numeracy homework continues from last week- pupils should focus on money, real life situation experiences where possible would really benefit the learning.

Week Beginning 10th November

This week we finish our work on Place Value and will begin our unit on money next. Here are some activities that would help prepare the children for this topic.
