We used collage materials to revisit symmetry.

First we folded paper and drew half a butterfly, then we used light to trace the other half. To finish them off we stuck on collage materials, remembering to keep them symmetrical.

We were practicing target skills using indoor curling.

This week we got to welcome Jonny Paterson to our school, he is a footballer who has competed in many sporting events representing Scotland. Jonny was born with Cerebral Palsy and gave an inspirational speech about his journey. We all had fun exercising alongside him.

This week we have been coming to school looking pretty crazy to raise awareness of Walk To School Week.

On Monday we had crazy hair…

…and on Friday we wore crazy clothes…

Look how much some of our sunflowers have grown. We are hoping to come in next week and they are all starting to grow.

Well done to everyone for their fantastic Big Talks. Mrs Withers was impressed with the preparation and delivery of these and loved the ambition of every single one!

We were trying to make our sentences make sense by using all the correct words.

We went a walk around our village to show Mrs Withers some of the lovely places we have to visit.

We used the compost we made earlier in the year to plant sunflowers. We are all looking forward to seeing who gets the tallest one.
