It has been a short but busy week in Primary 2/3.
It was really lovely to welcome so many families into our new classroom this week to join in with our play activities. Thank you so much to everyone who made it along, the children really enjoyed welcoming you into our class.
Have a wee look at all the things we were getting up to……
We celebrated World Book Day on Wednesday by starting our whole class book study for this term ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’. We also designed a new cover for our favourite book and made some bookmarks.
We have continued to practise the ‘ow’ sound in literacy and made some fantastic owls to display on our art gallery wall in the classroom.
In numeracy we have been continuing to practise counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s and to work out the coins needed to pay for items.
