Numeracy

We have been learning about odd and even numbers within 10.

Activity: Write the numbers 1-10 on post it notes or scrap pieces of paper. Sort into groups ‘odd’ or ‘even’. It would be helpful if children could use concrete materials when sorting the numbers to visualise which numbers have ‘an odd one out’. You could use pasta, cheerios, lego blocks or any other loose parts around the house.
