Our Learning This Week

This week in literacy, we learned the letter t and practised hearing, saying, spotting and writing the sound in words. We used the Jolly Phonics song and action to help us.

Some of us also worked on consolidating the sounds sh, ng and th. In writing, we continued our work on detailed drawings. Some of us have continued working on descriptive writing. This week, we described a setting.

In numeracy, we practised putting numbers in order, thinking carefully about which number comes before and after. We have also been using tools such as Numicon and Rekenreks to develop our number sense.
