Wk ending 24th May

What a great week we have had listening to all the Big Talks this week. They have worked so hard at home to prepare their talks and the class really enjoyed learning about all the different animals.

It was also Walk to School week. We’ve had odd socks, walking with friends, crazy hair,

On Thursday the children from the ECC came up for a Numeracy morning in the hall.

Wk ending 17th May

This week we have been continuing to look at number patterns.  We have been counting in 2s, 10s and 5s.  We have also started writing our calculations in a jotter and practising our number formation.  Look at how neat we can be…

We also started investigating measure.  We have looked at length and weight this week.  We had great fun estimating first and then working out the length and weight of things in the class.

We welcomed the ECC children again this week for some transition visits to play in our classroom.

We’ve been enjoying building with lego this week and wanted to share our creations with you.

We enjoyed some Cosmic Yoga where we acted out being fish under the sea in a shipwreck.

In H&W, we are talking about our emotions.  We enjoyed listening to a story all about how to ‘Find Your Happy’.  Click on the link below to listen to the story at home too…
