In class during our Christmas Day on Thursday 10th we will be watching the older version of the Grinch. This is rated PG so if you do not wish your child to watch this then please let me know by note or email.
If you have no objection then you do not need to do anything.
Choose a country of your choice to learn about other Christmas traditions around the world.
If you don’t have a printer just complete on a sheet of paper using the correct headings. You do not need to try and copy out the worksheet. Feel free to write onto a word document/PowerPoint or use the worksheet.
Complete the calculations and add the correct colour to the box. It then builds up into a Christmas picture. The children have completed these as early finishers in the past so should be familiar with them.
You are going to be presenting a solo talk on our topic ‘The Vikings’. You can choose any aspect of Viking life to present to the class or you can do an overview of all that you have learned.
You will present your solo talk to the class on Tuesday1st December. There will be no other homework so you can concentrate on preparing an excellent solo talk.

Complete the short wellbeing survey via Teams page or the link below. All the children have their correct logins home with them today. Password for Glow is Primary5! for everyone.
Revise your times tables using the game board. You can also use an online dice and some coins to play. If you cant access a printer then get someone in your house to test you on the tricky tables.
We are very lucky to be having one of the active school co-ordinators working with us in P5. He will be leading sport activities every day for the next 4 weeks. Therefore, the children will need suitable footwear and a jacket in school each day as these sessions will be outside.
Many thanks
Mr Dearie
