Visit from a Nurse 🩺
Last week we were lucky enough to be visited by Nurse Louise. She was telling us all about her job at Crosshouse hospital and how we can keep ourselves healthy (linking to our topic). She even showed us what hospitals looked like years ago and what they are like now. It was so interesting! Thank you so much for visiting us!!

Bobby’s Presentation ⚽️
Bobby presented his football PowerPoint that he made all by himself. He worked hard on it at home, adding the pictures, writing the text and designing the presentation.
Well done Bobby!!
Ghost Art! 👻
We used pencil and oil pastel to create our Halloween Ghost artwork. We think they look more cute than scary! 👻

Spooky Science! 👻
We were lucky enough to team up with P5R to do some spooky science experiments. We first used static electricity to make ghosts fly. We then made oobleck- which is a solid and a liquid. Finally the main event was making exploding Frankenstein’s using vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. Here are some pictures of us experimenting!
Sukkot Celebrations
We have been learning about the Jewish celebration of Sukkot. We talked about why it is celebrated and what people do to celebrate. Please ask us all about it! We then made our own Sukkah huts using old shoe boxes and leaves. Here we are in action:
