☺️Pleasing Presentations!☺️

For our homework we created presentations about Vikings. As part of our listening and talking learning we had to present our presentations to the class. Here are our presenters who did a great job:

🌍What can we learn from a journey around the world?🌍

Our new topic is ‘What can we learn from a journey around the world?’ We were looking at the world map and identifying the 7 continents and 5 oceans. Working in pairs, we then had to complete a world map jigsaw making sure we put the continents and oceans in the correct place! Here we are in action:

🤽PE🤽

P3E joined us for PE to practise our hand eye co-ordination. This is to get us ready to play racquet sports. All of us had great fun together!

📚World Book Day! 📚

We had a great time celebrating World Book Day.
We got dressed up as book characters and did book/reading related activities all day. We even decorated potatoes as book characters!

⭐️Wider Achievements⭐️

We have had a few wider achievements to celebrate in P3B! 🥳

Firstly, we have Bobby with his 2 football medals. ⚽️

We then have Jake with his painting of a tiger. 🐯

We also have Grace with her medal and rosette for gymnastics. 🤸🏻

Chloe also showed us her medals and trophy. 🏆

Lastly, we have Bobby and Cammy with their football medals! 🏅

What a talented bunch we have in P3B and we are all so proud of you!

💥Cool Comics!💥

During topic we have been learning about Viking Sagas. We had to retell a Saga in comic strip form using our own words. Here are some below:

Viking God Flapbooks

We have been learning about the Viking Gods. To present facts about the Gods we have created flapbooks. Here are some examples:

💌Wellness Wednesday!💌

Today we started our Child’s Mental Health Week activities. We started our day by Mindfulness Colouring to promote calmness.
We then wanted to spread some positivity, so we wrote notes to each other with some positive affirmations.

After lunch we looked at breathing techniques that we can use when we are overwhelmed. We had a go at some of them e.g. rainbow breathing, butterfly breathing and hand breathing.

Viking Artifact Homework

A big thank you to everyone who already has brought in Viking swords, shields, longships and many more. They are brilliant! Artifacts/models can still be brought in until the end of February. So there is still time to make something for our class assembly.

Thank you! Miss B
