Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone🎅🏼

Thank you very much for my cards, gifts and beautiful drawings that I have received over the last couple of weeks!

I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating with family and that Santa is good to you all🎄

Well done for all of your hard work so far in P2/3 and I can’t wait to see you all in the New Year!

Happy Holidays🎁

Nativity

Hello,

What a Monday we have had! Due to the ongoing situation with regards to Covid, we made the decision to record the nativity this morning. None of the class knew this until they came to school today. A number of children had to take on additional roles due to absences but they took this in their stride. The children were all fantastic and we look forward to being able to share this with you soon.

I am so proud of every one of you!

Well done P2🤩

Homework

Due to it being the final full week before the holidays, there will be no homework this week.

That being said, if children wanted to do their solo talk this week they can bring in their posters tomorrow or Tuesday.

Solo Talks

Hello everyone, I know I have mentioned on here about solo talks for next Monday, however I don’t think that is giving you enough time to prepare for these. If you wish to do it next week and feel this is enough time for you to prepare then you can, however I am extending this until the 10th of January to allow more time to prepare. Sorry for the short notice.

Homework W.B 6th December

For homework this week I would like you to focus on creating a solo talk about your favourite woodland animal. We will be starting these the W.B 13th December. Please do not worry about this, it will be very informal and you do not need to spend lots of money and time on a poster. I will provide dates for solo talks in yellow booklets this week.

Solo Talk – Woodland Animal P2

I have allocated books on Bug Club also, however please do not worry too much about this.

Outdoor learning

After a very cold outdoor learning afternoon last Wednesday I think it’s possibly time to stop our outdoor learning until the warmer weather picks up again. We were all freezing last week and the majority of the kids just wanted to be back indoors. I will make another post on here to inform you when we start it back again.
