Ayrshire College are looking to run a 5 week Summer Programme that will run every day.

This programme will include FREE Sports Camps and Masterclasses for all young people aged 5 – 18 years within the local community and offer a full family Health & Wellbeing programme that is wider than sport.

Families will have the opportunity to learn about front and back of house service in restaurants and will have the chance to study food hygiene.  Parents/carers will have the opportunity to prepare a meal and serve to their invited family members in Ayrshire College restaurant ‘The Salt and Barrel’

Participants will also get the opportunity to complete a Barista Certificate.

Families will also have expert guidance from Hospitality Lecturers on how to prepare various dishes, and then receive recipe cards and a recipe box with ingredients they require to make the food dishes at home.

While parents/carers are learning about the Hospitality Sector the children from the family will be participating within the Sports and Fitness sessions that will be taking place in the College at the same time.

Ayrshire College would like to pilot this programme targeting the groups below:

Which group best describes the parent/carer?(required)

I am happy for the school to share this form with staff at Ayrshire College.(required)
