Wider Achievement

We are so proud of all our pupils who were recognised at assembly this week.

Sarah from P4K would like to share the news that she’s achieved a new level in her swimming lessons. Well done.

Olivia from P4W competed in a dance competition in Grangemouth on Sunday 5th November, dancing in teams, freestyle solo, hip hop solo and hip hop solo. She danced in an u10s freestyle section with two heats and made the final. She came away with 1st place for freestyle solo. Well done.

Ailish from P6H as part of East Ayrshire Youth Theatre, starring in Pantodimonium this Saturday at the Palace Theatre as one of the wicked witches! Her 3rd show with them. Good luck!

Eilidh from P4W has spent a number of weeks writing and editing a story for the BBC 500 word challenge. She finally completed this on Monday and submitted it for judging. She has worked really hard at using adjectives to make her story more interesting. Editing was a particular challenge to keep it down to 500 words but she showed perseverance and got there in the end. She has a certificate and a copy of her story to show. Good luck!

On Friday 3rd November Zak  from P5MB had his Bonnyton 2015 football team awards night. He received trophy for good attendance and working very hard as a team player at training and matches. Well done.

Robbie from P7A challenged himself to run 1x5km per day for 50days!! He began this on 8th October 2023 and will complete his challenge on Sunday 26th November. He decided this would be a great opportunity to raise some money for a great cause. He’s running for The Biggart Hospital, Prestwick. His Great Aunt passed away in April of this year and she was care for by the nurses and volunteers there. Well done!

Hazel from P6A won a  bronze medal at JKS Scotland kumite competition. She is competing every weekend this month with the JKS Scotland Squad.Good luck and well done .

During October Nathan from P2CN took part and completed a 30mile walking challenge. He actually finished early on the 15th of the month. He walked to and from school every day and joined in with family walks as I ( his Mum) was completing the Race at Your Pace 300 mile walking challenge for October and Nathan wanted to take part to so joined the children’s challenge. Well done.
