REMINDER – Sports Consent Forms Return

Consent forms were issued Thursday 23rd / Friday 24th October to pupils expressing an interest in the following sports activities / clubs:

With activities commencing this week, please complete and return issued forms to the school ASAP to make sure that your child does not miss out in taking part.

Monday Night Basketball Returns

Learn how to dribble, shoot, pass and other basketball skills through drills and games. Great opportunity to improve techniques and enjoy some basketball in a friendly environment.

Come along and join the fun. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Spaces are limited,

Could Primary 5 pupils please bring in a hat, scarf and pair of gloves for our novelty race.

Items should be brought to school in a labelled bag by Wednesday 29th May, for sports day Friday 31st May.

This after-school club is being run by Vibrant Communities for Primary 1, 2 and 3 pupils, in the school, between 3pm and 4pm, on the following three Thursdays:

• 23rd May,
• 30th May, and
• 3th June.

Parents of P1, P2 and P3 pupils have already received a letter regarding this after-school club.

P6/7 Play Leader Volunteers

P6 and P7 pupils have been asked in class today if they would like to volunteer to be a Play Leader for these sessions. Letters and consent forms will be issued on Monday to those pupils expressing an interest in taking part.

Participating children and volunteer Play Leaders should bring their PE kits with them on the above dates.

Vibrant Communities are carrying out a sport and physical activity consultation across East Ayrshire.

This is a good chance for you and your children say what you already do, what you like to do, and barriers to participating in sport in the area.

Cumnock Rugby Club – P4-6 Sessions in School

Representatives from Cumnock Rugby Club will be in school on Thursday 14th, Thursday 21st and Thursday 28th March to give our pupils rugby taster session.

Primary 4/5 will be training between 9:05am – 9:45am, and

Primary 5/6 will follow at 9:50am – 10:30am.

If pupils don’t normally have PE on Thursdays, a change of kit will be necessary.
