Huge Thank You!

Hi Everyone,

We would like to say a HUGE thank you for all of your lovely cards, gifts and gift cards! It really is massively appreciated.

It has been a lovely year teaching all of the children in P3KG. I (Miss Kay) will miss all of you very much and I know you’ll be fabulous in P4.

Love,

Miss Kay and Miss Gray x

3D Objects

We have been learning about the properties of 3D Objects and this week we used some sticks and blu tac to make some of our own.

Hockey

Primary 3 have begun their unit in hockey. Today we began with familiarising ourselves with the hockey stick, maintaining control of the ball and dribbling.

Dean Castle trip

We had so much fun on our trip to Dean Castle, we learned lots about the castle and also got to share what we knew about castles with our guide! We then went a bug hunt and had a play on the park.

Our very own castles!

What a fantastic effort from P3KG making their own castles at home. Well done to everyone!

We really loved seeing these and hearing all about how they were made, materials used and the features included.

Peaceful Garden Quote Competition📚🦉

We’re excited to invite children, parents/carers to take part in a special competition to help shape our schools Peaceful Garden Area, a quite calm space where imaginations can grow through the love of reading.
The winning quote will be designed and proudly displayed in the peaceful garden for everyone to enjoy.
Hand your inspirational quotes into Miss Sawyers, Mr Howie or Miss Ward by the 13th of March.
We are excited to receive your entries! Good Luck!

Data Handling

This week we have been finishing off our data handling topic in maths. We have been sorting information into Venn diagrams and some of us even made our own pictographs on the laptops!
