Pupil Leadership

Children have different ideas to take on leadership roles throughout the school.  This might simply be in class where the take turns at holding class jobs such as distributor, table leader or light monitor.

Primary 7 pupils have the opportunity to be house and vice captain as well as being P1 buddies.  The later role begins in the final stages of P6.

Children in P3-7 can put themselves forward to be class representative on the Pupil Council.  The Pupil Council support school improvement and charity work.

Children in P4-7 select a WINGS (What We Need To Grow in School) group.  This year our WINGS groups are:

  • Rights Respecting School
  • Clean Green
  • Health and Wellbeing

WINGS groups run for 6 week blocks three times per year and aim support the overall improvement agenda of the school as well as developing key meta skills in all of our pupils.
