P7 Residential 2026

After a good night’s sleep, we started our day with fencing, followed by vertical challenge, archery and the giant swing!  This afternoon saw some very wet weather, making the walk back from the swing very muddy … some of us (yes me included) may have slipped in the mud!  🙂 The children are currently trying to pack before going to the disco.

So after maybe not too much sleep and a lot of night time chatter, we had another busy day!  Our day started with Survivor, where we built shelters, started fired with flit and steel and creating wood shavings with a knife!

We then headed back up the hill to the pond where we were canoeing.  After canoeing, some of our group decided to take a dip in the freezing cold pond!

After lunch it was onto the challenge course and then the giant zip line!

The children have enjoyed some time together in their rooms after dinner and are heading out  for our evening activity where we will join up with Galston and Hurlford for Ambush!

Early to bed tonight … before an another busy day tomorrow!

Some highlights from day 1!
After our bus journey, we walked up a very steep hill to our lodge. We then had lunch before starting our afternoon activities! Today we had Jacob’s Ladder and Aeroball!
