Positive Relationships and Behaviour and Celebrating Success!

At Newmilns Primary School and  Early Childhood Centre we wish to create a happy, safe and fair environment where behaviour for learning allows all pupils to fulfil their potential. We believe that this will be best achieved where staff, families and pupils work together with a common purpose.

We are an inclusive school that holds positive relationships at our heart.  Just like learning to read, write or count all children are leaning to behave in socially appropriate ways and just like learning to read, write or count different children learn how to behave at different stages, and it worth remember that there are many factors which can impact on this progress.

Our school values underpin our work in respect of positive relationships and behaviour.

Our golden thread of kindness joins our values together and supports our positive relationship approaches across the School and Early Childhood Centre.
