Our 2025/26 progress:
Climate Action Progression Framework P1-7
Climate Action progression framework is under construction with the aim to run from the start of next session. Lessons and activity examples will be provided for P1-7 to ensure progression across Early to Second level, ensuring everyone learns about climate change and its effects as well as actions they can tale to reduce their carbon footprint.
Clean Green Wider Achievement Targets
Our Wider Achievement system is under review to include Meta-skills. As we amend what we currently have to include these skills, reference to Clean Green targets will also be updated.
Sustainable Development Goal 13
The Clean Green Climate Action Tea, explored SDG 13 – Climate Change when marking Earth Day. They made iMovies to promote ‘Our Power, Our Planet’ to share with the whole school at Get Together.
The Clean Green Climate Action Team created iMovies to mark Earth Day which were shared at Get Together as unfortunately we had missed the deadline for the Young Reporters competition.
P3/4 used digital technologies such as coding, Chatterkids, Stop Motion and mark up to spread the word of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle as part of their topic. This work was shared with the whole school.
Next steps:
- Climate Action progression framework to be complete and introduced for session 2026/2027.
- Wider Achievement programme to be reviewed to include Meta-skills and Clean Green targets.
- Work created using digital technologies to be shared in next Young Reporters for the Environment by the entry deadline.
