Jigsaw – Term 4 p6 pdf

Today, we’ve did our class assembly.  It was very entertaining and we were lucky to have Lorna Sloan from the John Muir Trust to watch our assembly.  We all had an amazing time.  Lorna gave us certificates at the end.

I Today a lady called Lorna Sloan came into the class to tell us a little bit more information on the John Muir Award. She is also from the John Muir Trust and did some very fun activities like:

• Racing to find facts and phrases about John Muir
• Looking through microscopes at our garden
• Looked through microscope at rocks
• wrote down some of our ideas

we we all had so much fun and all want to continue it.

Today we recited our class Poem Address To A Haggis. The winners of  the class competition are Isla, Lucy and Jack A.well done to all of them and good luck for the next round.

This year we are learning Address To A Haggis by Robert Burns. To help us out Lauren’s papa Mr Law came in to help us out with our pronunciation and to learn our class poem.

Day of Dance.

We are looking forward to attending The Day of Dance on Wednesday morning. The children can bring a small snack.  The organisers have clearly expressed that the children must only bring water to drink, no juice. 

Spectators are not permitted to take photographs and must sit in the balcony.

Day of Dance

We are attending the Day of Dance on Wednesday 14th November from 9.15am  until 12.20pm.   We are looking for 2 parents to help us please.  However, in addition it would be really helpful if you were able to come along to our P.E. sessions at 11am on the next 3  Fridays, so that you are familiar with the dance.  Please contact the school if you are able to help.

Library is on a Thursday, this will include the library van every 2nd week.  Our first visit to the library van is 20th September. (It comes to the school)
