Miss Finnigan will be taking all classes for PE this year!

Make sure to keep an eye out for pictures throughout the year to see what each class is getting up to and learning in PE.

Classes will have PE on the following days:

PE kit

Please make sure your child has an appropriate PE kit with them on their PE days. Pupils are welcome to keep their PE kit in school in the cloakroom and can take it home to wash as often as they wish.

Pupils should have:

• A change of T-shirt

• Shorts or trousers

• Suitable trainers

If pupils do not have an appropriate change of clothes or suitable trainers, they will not be able to take part in PE activities.

Earring Reminder

A reminder that, for safety reasons, we ask pupils who are able to do so independently to remove their earrings before taking part in PE activities.

If a pupil is unable to remove their earrings independently, a parent or carer will need to complete a permission slip giving permission for the pupil to wear their earrings during PE, with the earrings securely covered with tape.

Permission slips can be given to pupils during class time or collected from the main office.

Please note that the final decision regarding taking part in PE will be made by the school, based on the risks associated with the activities  taking place. For example, if a lesson involves contact or the pupil is wearing earrings such as hoops that could become caught or snagged, the teacher may decide that it is not safe for the pupil to participate, even if parental permission has been provided.

Thank you 🙂
