Stem – Research an endangered animal.
Find out:
-How many are left in the population
-Where is their natural habitat? (country and *biome)
-Why are they endangered?
-What can humans do to help?
-Any other interesting facts

Other – In preparation for STEM week (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) we are looking for donations of household items to help us with the experiments we will be conducting.

Literacy – To prepare for World Book Day on Thursday, choose a book from home that you would like to share with the class. Please bring the book in with you on Thursday.

We are about to start learning fractions and having a strong knowledge of your times tables will help a lot with this.
Literacy – Common word week (practice spelling words)
Topic – Research your local MSP in your constituency (find out what MSP and constituency mean too!)
Can you also find out which party they are part of and what they do?
Record in HW jotter or piece of paper!

CARS Logo Design Brief
The C.A.R.S. group (Combined Ayrshire Road Safety group) would like you to design a logo for us.
The group consists of representatives from Ayrshire Roads Alliance (a partnership with East and South Ayrshire Council), North Ayrshire Council, Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue.
The group promotes road safety to all ages and classes of road user throughout Ayrshire.
Design Criteria
- Must include the letters – CARS
- Must have a road safety theme
- Can be several colours
- Can be drawn freehand or digitally
- Must be easily reproduced on promotional items
- Must be an original design
