Staying safe and managing risk is a vital part of being able to enjoy time outdoors. At LOST, we like to support and develop children’s ability to manage and assess risk and stay safe by carrying out our risk assessments with pupils and encouraging them to be dynamic in assessing risk when we are outdoors. These resources will help support children to learn about road safety and develop skills and knowledge that can be applied when outside.
For teachers, this activity can be used to help deliver Es and Os in the CfE HWB curriculum at Early Level to Fourth Level 0-16a to 4-16a and 0-17a to 4 -17a.
