Games are important to all of us and making games you can share with other people is lovely way to spend your time. Using only a few stones, sticks, pens and perhaps some paint, it is possible to make games you will have fun making and playing.

There are lots of ways to decorate your games pieces – you don’t have to use just Xs and Os. Why not make it a game of minibeast against minibeast – spiders vs beetles perhaps?

The charity Buglife have put instructions on their website for the traditional game of beetle drive. Beetle Drive Game Rules Normally you would play with paper, pencil and a dice.
Why not make your own version using sticks stones and pens – drawing the different parts of the beetle on separate stones and using sticks as legs and antennae? All you need to add is a dice!
Follow the Stone Trail
