Making Parachutes, can you save an egg?

This is another activity from the Science out of the Box series, focusing on Forces. The challenge is to use your knowledge of air resistance and how it works to construct a parachute that will allow an egg to be dropped from a height and not be broken.

Use the Air resistance planning booklet to help you plan your experiments.

This activity can be tied to the book “Egg Drop” by Mini Grey which is also in our video library.
