First Activity

The first activity is Pioneering with Peter.  He will show you how to make a really cool catapult.  If you don’t have garden canes try using little sticks and make a mini version. How far can you fire your canon?!

Once you have built this you could find out which things fly the furthest… which works best light or heavy things?

Can you make it across the Lava River?  How long does it take you?

Hamish shows you how you can play this game in your garden, but remember if you want you can do it in the house too, just pick a place that you need to cross and remember…don’t get burnt!
