LOST was a small, strategic support service within East Ayrshire Council’s Education Service.
A team of specialist outdoor learning teachers and practitioners, who supported and challenged schools to engage in high quality outdoor learning experiences. The team established partnerships with local and national organisations, to improve school and teacher capacity, competence and confidence outdoors, thereby enhancing the opportunities and impact of learning of children and young people (3-18 years). Based at a purpose built outdoor education center in St Joseph’s Campus Kilmarnock, we operated peripatetically throughout the region.
