Trees are wonderful but, often we don’t fully take them in.  This video and accompanying activity encourages children to engage with trees, to explore them using their senses and describe them, with Aly demonstrating how they can create their own poem.  It is a literacy activity which develops imagination, the use of comparisons and descriptive language.  The video, further information and a lesson plan can be found here:
