Primary 1 – I thought you might like to watch this clip of pandas at a zoo in Washington playing in the snow especially since we have been looking at animals in winter with Percy The Park Keeper. It is very cute.
Enjoy, Mrs Carey.

Hi P3, hope you are all good today.
Looking forward to seeing you if you can make it onto the Vscene call today at 2pm. Don’t worry if you can’t make it as I’m sure we will organise another one next week.
We are continuing with money in our maths. Today we are going to be using coins to help us add up, if you don’t have any perhaps you could make some paper ones.
We are also looking at the food produced in Scotland and some of the food Scotland is famous for.

Hope you have a good day,

Good morning P7,
How are you all today?
Remember there is a transition meeting for Loudoun this evening. Try to join the team in advance to make sure there are no technical problems.
It was great to see more of you on Nessy yesterday! Well done, keep it up 🙂
You may also have noticed my post about our health and wellbeing channel. I will add new links and activities each week to help support you during this period of remote learning. Remember to take a look each week to see if there is anything of particular help or interest to you.
Please register for the day and then head to our team page for today’s tasks.
Take care,
Mrs J

Good Morning Primary 1, it was a pretty horrible day here yesterday so I hope its a bit better for us all today. Apologies for not hearing me again on Vscene, unfortunately I cannot get my laptop to join with sound and I have no idea why. I have uploaded the latest software and that hasn’t done the trick either. I did finally manage to log on. with my phone and laptop but this is not ideal either as the sound echoes and I cannot mute calls. At least its looking like we might get back to face to face teaching soon. Thanks for bearing with me and all the technology issues. Today I will also try to post a sway which I hope you can view properly.
Have a good day and here are today’s links :

Good morning all,
Welcome to Wednesday’s home learning. I hope you are managing to access the daily tasks and complete as much as you can. Thanks to those of you who are keeping me posted with how you’re getting on. It’s great that so many of you are completing the Quizzes and Assignments that I’ve been setting on Teams. Super scores, keep up the good work.
Today’s activities are in Class Notebook > content library (using the content library) > then click on page with today’s date. You’ll only need one resource from the class materials folder today.
A wee reminder for tomorrow (Thurs 4th Feb) at 2.00pm – live audio session on Teams. Go to the Interdisciplinary Channel and click on the invite then ‘join meeting’. I hope you can make it!. I am also planning to do a live screen share with you on Teams on Friday at 10.00am.
Remember to email me your work or if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Hello Primary 2B! 🙂
I hope we are all having a fantastic week so far. We are half way through the week! First of all, I need to say a big sorry, I made changes to the sway yesterday morning as I forgot to add in the story of “ea” for the red and green spelling groups, sorry to those that had already started completing tasks before I fixed this. I hope we are all ready for another day of home learning today we are going to do some phonics and common word work as well as our writing. We are moving on from measure in maths and are going to start looking at time. Remember to complete an activity from the Toys topic grid.
Daily reminder to take breaks while you work and get some fresh air.
Please click the image below to take you to the sway and click the link below that for the toys grid.
Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Hi Primary 1,
It was so lovely to see some of you on Vscene yesterday. I know how nice it was for you to see each other too. You will be super at counting in 2’s now. Today we are going to learn to count in 10’s.
I hope you have a lovely day and enjoy the activities on our Sway.
Hugs from Mrs Cuthbertson. xxx
