Water Play!

What you will need ;

1. Basin of water
2. Various household or garden objects – spoon, sponge, stone, leaf, cork.
3. Put the objects into the water. What happens? Do some float? Do some sink? Talk about this and why this may be happening.
4. Progression:
   You could add in cups of various sizes, jugs and talk about full and empty.
   Colour the water
   Add soap bubbles to the water
   Wash toys
   Bathe your doll.
5. This activity meets so many learning outcomes of maths, science, literacy and creativity – the list is endless!
6. Most of all, have fun!
