Another busy week in P1A!

Primary 1A have had another busy week. Mrs Campbell is amazed at how well we are coping with school. We are having lots of fun doing Dough Gym to help strengthen our muscles. We love numbers and are learning to write them and we were chalking them in the playground. We went on a bug hunt in the school garden using magnifying glasses. We are listening to lots of stories. We loved ‘Ruby’s Worry’ which reminded us that telling someone else about a worry helps it go away. We heard the story about ‘Elmer’ and we enjoyed making pictures of him. We made a collage of ourselves for our Class Charter.

WELCOME TO P1A’s BLOG

All the children in P1A are settling in well at school and they are getting used to our class routines. Everyone is engaging well with learning and lots of new friendships are being formed. They are enjoying playing in the playground and eating the yummy school lunches.

We will be having P.E. outdoors on Mondays and Wednesdays and at the moment the children just need to bring a change of shoes. We will be doing lots of outdoor learning so it would be advisable to bring a jacket to school every day just in case it rains.
