Space: Scratch Art
Today, P2/3 were making their own scratch art space picture. We used crayons to colour in a piece of paper and then painted over the top with black paint. When this dries we will scratch off the paint to create a space picture.

P2/3 were practising their multiplication and division today through lots of active learning activities.

Science: Solubility
On Friday, P2/3 were testing the solubility of salt, sugar, sand, and pepper. We learned that salt and sugar and soluble and sand and pepper are insoluble.

Digital Literacy: Laptops
P2/3 were learning to log in to the laptops using a username and password, access the internet, and drag and drop objects using the mouse pad on the laptops.

Space: Phases of the Moon
P2/3 have been learning about the phases of the moon. The children had great fun re-creating the famous Jaffa Cake advert, check out the video:

Space: Solar System Model
This girl from P2/3 made this amazing solar system model at home with her mum.

Science: Floating Ink
P2/3 were drawing pictures on plates today using whiteboard pens and then poured water on top to see what would happen. We experimented with different colours of whiteboard pens and different-sized pictures.
Some of our pictures floated and some could be peeled off the plate.
