Numeracy: Fractions
Yesterday, the P4s joined us to help with our numeracy rotations. We were learning to match a fraction of a shape to the correct fraction and find 1/2 and 1/4 of a number. As a challenge, some of us were finding 1/5s and 1/10s of a number.
At the end of the lesson, P2/3 showed P4 some of the body percussion we had been learning to the song ‘Happy’! The children loved this!

P2/3 have been learning about halves, quarters and thirds. Some of us have been finding a half or a quarter of whole amounts.
We have also been continuing to practise out times tables!
