Eco Schools Pupil Committee 2022-2025

2024/2025

2024-2025 An overview of the year.

The Eco committee met in May to summarise what we have achieved this year with a focus on waste, transport, energy and the environment. We also planted seeds and plants in the garden.

The Eco committee designed posters after a visit from Mr Harper, EAC Environmental officer, to promote no littering, no dog fouling and no fly tipping. Fenwick Community Council presented our winners Meg, Layla and Samuel with prizes.
Stephen Canning, EAC Environmental officers, Fenwick Community Council, The Parent Council and the Eco Committee went out into the community to display the winners and finalists posters on the Fenwick community notice boards and at the park, school and John Fulton hall. Look out for the posters!

2023/2024

Meet the Eco Committee for this year.

We have created our action plan for this year.

Learning about recycling when Romaquip the recycling lorry came to visit and taking part in ‘Dinnae forget your caddy’ as part of EAC Clean Green Award.

We had a special visitor in to teach us about renewable energy!

We had a great SIP curricular evening sharing all the work we have accomplished.

Well done to Zaidan and Brodie who have been winners of our ‘Scrappy’ the Caddy competition.

We cleared the planters, planted new seeds, explored the mini-beasts in the garden, made big hotels and even had a visit from a hedgehog!

We are proud to have received the Silver Clean Green Award 2024. Naila and Gracie attended the Clean Green Awards as representatives of the Eco Committee to celebrate all the work achieved this year.
