We finished off our Energy topic this week by learning a bit more about fossil fuels. We now understand how fossil fuels are made. We used cocktail sticks to try and remove “coal” (chocolate chips) from “the Earth” (cookies). Primary 3 now understand how much damage digging for fossil fuels causes to the natural environment around it.

We then celebrated the end of our topic on Earth Day by listening to the Earth Day song and making our ‘Planet Protector’ crowns.
