The CIRCLE Early Years (Up, up and Away) resource is primarily aimed at professionals working with children aged 4 years and
under. The focus is on supporting children who
may be at risk for poor achievement in language, literacy and learning; in early years settings, at school and in
later life.
The resource uses the CIRCLE Framework is designed to
- complement professionals existing knowledge, skills and experience
- support a shared language for the team around the child
- consider which factors in the child’s environment, routines, motivation and skills support or challenge their learning.
- provides practical strategies for developing relationships and building vocabulary to help build the foundations to literacy.
