Bullying Assembly

On Friday 28th September 2018, pupils had the opportunity to discuss Bullying during our whole school assembly with Mr. Forsyth. They discussed what the word means and gave examples of what it means to them and the different forms it can take. This was then followed up with a class discussion where the children gave some great suggestions of and what we can do in our school to prevent bullying or if we have any concerns.

As part of our weekly health lessons we have been talking about the importance of teamwork. Also as part of Our Class Charter we have spoken about our rights and responsibilities and the expectation of how we behave at school. We hope to do follow up lessons as part of our Health & Wellbeing lessons. Also as part of our weekly R.E. lessons we discuss how to be kind and follow the example of Jesus and help and support one another.
