Science
Today(Friday), in science, we were learning how to separate mixtures. First, we done salt and rice. We used a sieve to split the rice and the salt. The next mixture we had to separate was oil and water. To get the water and oil in different bowls, we slowly poured out the oil (decanting). Then we had to separate sand and water. We used filter paper and a funnel and we slowly decanted the water into the filter paper. The filter paper caught the sand and separated it from the water.
