Dalrymple Bowling Club

P5/6 went to Dalrymple Bowling Club on Wednesday 14th June. We had to go down on our knees and roll the ball which was quite tricky as we couldn’t bounce the ball. We had to get the bowling ball as close to the jack as possible. We all had so much fun.

“I really enjoyed the bowling and would love to go again!” Ayanna.

“It was such a good experience and I am so excited to go again!” Penny.

Our visit to The Dick Institute for the Quentin Blake Exhibition

Primary 4/5, 5/6 and 6/7 all traveled to Kilmarnock last Friday to see our art work on display as part of the Quentin Blake Exhibition. We had an amazing time as we visited the Knights and Armour exhibition and it was very good and we would visit it again. Afterwards we drew people that dressed up very silly, Quentin Blake style. We were gifted with lots of art supplies which we will make good use of at school.

Panto at the Palace

On Wednesday 7th December, Dalrymple Primary School went on a trip to see Snow White at Kilmarnock Palace Theatre. The pantomime was very thought out, funny and interesting. We traveled in three buses. When we arrived everyone was very welcoming. Sienna from P5/6 was chosen to go up on stage and sing a couple of lyrics from a funny song. The actors were very funny as they had silly costumes on. It was amazingly exciting and would definitely recommend going there.
