This is a good experiment about mixing colours to make different colours.
This is just an example there are many different ways of experimenting using colour, you could mix paint or coloured water. Have a bit of fun with it.

Ask the children what they think will happen? What colour they think they will make? What will happen if?
There have been lots of pictures and talk of rainbows recently, why not create your own colourful rainbow while mixing the colours.
